Buyer x 3 – Various Spend CategoriesAdded on 05/10/2023
Due to growth, our client is now looking to recruit 3 x Buyers, all within procurement and focusing on different spend categories. These roles are ideally suited to procurement professionals at the early stages of their procurement careers, looking to join a procurement team that manages a very large spend within a public sector environment.
Reporting to Commercial Managers, you will essentially support their procurement projects, which will include some administrative duties, basic contract management, data management and analysis, market engagement, coordination of negotiations, and tender support.
To be considered for these opportunities, it is essential that you can demonstrate:
- Some procurement experience, ideally within a public sector environment (not essential),
- Strong work ethic,
- Excellent time management,
- Good organisation skills,
- Ideally degree qualified (but not essential),
- A desire to study for CIPS,
- Commercial awareness, and
- Collaboration skills.
These permanent opportunities are based in North London, but with hybrid working patterns (circa 2-3 days per week working remotely).
