Senior Category Manager – Indirects

The Procurement Hive are delighted to be supporting a multinational food and drink manufacturer, who employ over 4000 people across multiple locations.

We’re looking to recruit a Senior Procurement Category Manager into a newly created position, replacing an interim resource who has begun the process of creating strategy, developing relationships, etc. The role has a multi-site (30+), multi-country focus, with an emphasis on Indirects category management, stakeholder engagement, supplier relationship management, etc.

You must be very confident dealing with stakeholders and suppliers, in an environment where little structure or process currently exists, and results are key.

The role is focused on Indirects, including:

• HR
• Soft Facilities (FM)
• Business Support Services (Professional Services)

Categories that have already started to be strategically managed include Laboratory Testing, Waste Management, Laundry and Workwear, Cleaning Chemicals and Market Data. This demonstrates the diverse nature of the role.

Spend under management across both Indirects and Direct categories is €1.6 billion.

This is a permanent position, with a hybrid working arrangement where you will need to be in the central London office for 2-3 days per week.
