Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a Procurement Manager – HR Services to support the ongoing transformation of its procurement function toward higher-value, strategic activities.
Operating in a context where organizational structures and strategy are still evolving, this role requires a senior, self-standing professional who can navigate ambiguity, influence decision-making, and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
The role focuses on procurement of HR and talent acquisition services, with a strong emphasis on supplier management (e.g., staffing agencies) and internal stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Services Procurement
- Manage procurement activities related to talent acquisition and HR services, including staffing agencies and recruitment providers.
- Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers such as Adecco and ManpowerGroup or similar.
- Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
Stakeholder & Internal Customer Management
- As the Procurement Manager – HR Services, act as a strategic partner to HR and business leaders, understanding talent needs and translating them into procurement strategies.
- Ensure high levels of internal customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and delivery.
- Confidently challenge senior stakeholders where needed to drive optimal outcomes.
Procurement Process Excellence
- Drive improvements in procurement processes, governance, and compliance.
- Focus on efficiency, transparency, and value delivery across the procurement lifecycle.
- Support the shift from transactional work to value-added procurement activities.
Transformation & Collaboration
- Contribute to the evolution of the procurement function, aligning with broader organizational changes.
- Collaborate with cross-country teams (Italy, Romania, India) across front-end, middle, and back-office activities.
- Operate effectively in a fluid and evolving strategic environment.
Candidate Profile:
Experience & Background
- Proven experience in procurement, ideally within HR services or talent acquisition categories.
- Background in or strong exposure to companies like Adecco or ManpowerGroup is highly desirable.
- Experience in complex, multinational environments such as Accenture or similar is strongly preferred.

- Solid understanding of procurement processes and governance

Candidates will be evaluated based on:
- Knowledge of consultancy industry/ similar environments: 60%
- Category knowledge (HR services procurement): 40%
- Soft skills & procurement fundamentals: High importance (qualitative, secondary to category expertise)
