About the Role

As Senior Procurement Manager – IT, you will lead procurement across technology categories including Hardware, Software, and Professional Services. Working closely with the Procurement Director, you will help evolve procurement into a strategic, value-driven function that directly supports business success.

This role requires confidence, credibility, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering results in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Leadership:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities across IT categories (HW, SW, and Professional Services)
  • Support the development and execution of procurement strategy
  • Drive initiatives that enhance value creation and business impact

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a trusted procurement advisor to senior stakeholders
  • Build strong internal relationships across business units
  • Influence and challenge senior partners with a constructive, solution-focused approach

Procurement Excellence:

  • Improve procurement processes, governance, and best practices
  • Ensure efficient delivery across all procurement operations
  • Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence

Collaboration & Transformation:

  • Partner closely with the Procurement Director
  • Support the ongoing transformation of the procurement function
  • Collaborate with international teams across Italy, Romania, and India

Skills & Experience

Experience:

  • Strong background in procurement within a multinational or complex organisation
  • Proven expertise in IT procurement categories (Hardware, Software, Professional Services)
  • Experience within consultancy or professional services environments is advantageous
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, governance, and operating models

  • High level of seniority and credibility with executive stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments
