We’re excited to offer a new opportunity for a Supplier Onboarding & Compliance Specialist to join our growing Procurement Operations team in the United States. This role is based in Chicago and is part of a newly established procurement function supporting supplier onboarding, compliance, and operational excellence.
You’ll play a key role in executing and managing supplier onboarding processes, maintaining compliance standards, and collaborating closely with internal teams across procurement and finance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Supplier Onboarding & Compliance Specialist will join a newly formed procurement team in the US to support with Supplier Onboarding and Compliance. Your main role will be executing supplier onboarding process, including account set-up on the onboarding platform, triggering invitation to TPVs and continue communication with the vendors until the process is concluded and Supplier account set-up on ERP system. This process ensures that all required information about our TPVs are captured and necessary policies are agreed to.
As you will be part of the newly formed team in the US you might be requested to support the local procurement specialists in processing orders to suppliers and respond to their questions about requests.
You must also be comfortable with an inclusive and open brain-storming environment in which team ideas are discussed and reviewed resulting in decisions which may deviate or be contrary to one’s inputs yet aim as maximum efficiency. At the same time employee will be encouraged to take active participation in those discussion, whilst ensuring a platform to share their ideas freely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end supplier onboarding process, from account creation to final ERP setup
- Coordinate and trigger invitations to third-party vendors (TPVs), maintaining active communication until onboarding is completed
- Ensure all supplier data is collected accurately and complies with internal policies
- Conduct periodic supplier due diligence by collecting and verifying vendor information as outlined in our compliance guidelines
- Identify and report on any discrepancies during the onboarding or due diligence process
- Collaborate regularly with the Buying and Finance teams, as well as other internal stakeholders
- Provide ad hoc support to local procurement specialists by processing purchase orders or handling platform queries
- Suggest process improvements, contribute to workflow design, and document process testing results
- Help identify process gaps and develop practical workarounds
- Meet defined KPIs and deliver timely, high-quality support to the business

Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement, supplier onboarding, or administrative support role
- Previous exposure to supplier interaction and management
- Familiarity with procurement systems and platforms
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
